Tanoan: pronounced Ta·noan (tä′nō ən)

noun: a family of North American indian languages including those of Kiowas and those

Homeowners Association: Separate Associations for Tanoan West and Tanoan East. Members pay monthly dues. Association has professional management under the control of a Board of Directors. Security: Uniformed guards supervise electronically controlled security gates and remote control video cameras at all entrances. Guards also patrol the Tanoan Communities in radio-equipped vehicles. Security Wall: A 60" white slumprock wall secures the entire perimeter of the Tanoan Communites. Private Streets: Tanoan's private streets provide controlled access. Speedbumps, gentle slopes and overall street design encourage slow traffic, walking, jogging and bicyling. Common Areas: The common areas are conveniently located and are for the use of lot owners and their guests. They are owned and maintained by the Homeowners Association. Architectural Requirements: All construction plans must meet community design review requirements and be approved by the Tanoan Communites Planning Committee.
